Technical Lift Services Ltd. is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. This statement sets out the steps we have taken to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains.
Our Business
Technical Lift Services Ltd. is a lift engineering company established in 2016, providing maintenance, repairs, modernisation, and bespoke installation services across Southern England. We maintain over 800 lifts at more than 300 sites, serving residential, commercial, and public sector clients.
Our Policies
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
We have implemented systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains, including:
- Employment policies that comply with UK employment law
- Right to work checks for all employees
- Fair pay practices that meet or exceed the National Living Wage
- Clear grievance and whistleblowing procedures
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include:
- Lift component and spare part suppliers
- Equipment and tool suppliers
- Professional service providers
- Subcontractors for specialist work
We conduct due diligence on our suppliers and expect them to share our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.
Due Diligence
As part of our due diligence processes, we:
- Evaluate potential suppliers before they enter our supply chain
- Review existing suppliers regularly
- Require suppliers to comply with applicable laws and ethical standards
- Maintain records of supplier assessments
Risk Assessment
We assess modern slavery risks in our business and supply chains. As a UK-based company primarily working with UK suppliers and employing UK-based staff, our direct risk is considered low. However, we remain vigilant and continue to monitor for any indicators of modern slavery.
Training
We ensure that our staff understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. Key personnel involved in procurement and recruitment receive appropriate guidance on identifying and responding to potential issues.
